Over 30 years, Homeboy Industries has evolved into the largest gang intervention, rehab and reentry program in the world. Each year the nonprofit organization welcomes 8,000+ people through its doors seeking to transform their lives. Clients are embraced by a community of kinship and offered a variety of free services. In addition to serving thousands of community clients, the flagship 18-month training program is offered to approximately 250+ men and women each year. The focus is on healing and job training through one of 9 social enterprise businesses. Clients discover their true selves and live healthy lives, contributing to the well being of their families and communities. Thus breaking the cycle of intergenerational violence.
